Media Coordinator

The Position
We are looking for an early-career/junior Media Coordinator (1-2 years experience) who will assist our team by executing various tasks in support of our digital and traditional advertising campaigns, including but not limited to ad QA (quality assurance), research, campaign set-up and management and reporting. If you are interested in learning all you can about digital marketing and want the agency culture with the added bonus of working with colleges and universities across the country, this is the perfect entry-level position for you. The successful candidate will have extraordinary attention to detail, enjoy proofreading, and have a passion for digital marketing.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- As a core role within the digital marketing team, work alongside Media Supervisors and Digital Marketing Specialists to support top-notch campaigns execution for our higher-ed clients.
- Have a heavy focus on quality assurance; ensuring that client ads are error free, both grammatically and technically.
- Work with the Sr. Accounting Specialist to ensure accurate invoicing of media.
- Work with Media Supervisors to ensure our team has the necessary account access in order to manage client campaigns.
- Work with Client Success Managers and clients to support in the creation of client ad accounts as needed.
- Implement, optimize, and maintain the full-cycle leads management process in collaboration with channel specialists and other project team members.
- Test and maintain the seamless transfer of leads to clients by utilizing lead automation software (Zapier).
- Assist in the use of internal media planning and finance tools to manage budget reconciliation, pacing, and overall campaign performance tracking.
- Assist the team in researching keywords, target audiences, competitors, and other areas that will be used in the development of strategy and/or execution of marketing plans, as needed.
- Assist in the upload and execution of campaigns across all digital marketing channels including (but not limited to) SEM, social media, and programmatic.
- Assist with analytics and reporting, as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation, helping streamline team workflows over time
- Learn and maintain knowledge of digital media channels.
- Participate in various training related to digital marketing, including individual, one-on-one and group sessions.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
The ideal candidate would possess the following skills, interest and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a comparable role is preferred.
- Currently hold or obtain Google Ads and Google Analytics certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Strong grammatical skills are imperative for this role.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Desire and demonstrate the ability to thrive within a team environment.
- Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through, even and especially including the mundane administrative tasks that are essential to the job.
- Passion to deliver work that’s excellent and efficient.
- Thirst for knowledge and passion to learn and grow in your area of expertise.
- Willingness to actively contribute to VisionPoint’s culture and embody our values.
- Experience with other marketing and measurement platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Zapier) is a plus.
