About VisionPoint Marketing

VisionPoint Marketing is on a mission to become higher education’s most trusted enrollment marketing partner. As a full-service agency, we collaborate with colleges and universities nationwide to strengthen brands, accelerate marketing performance, and drive measurable enrollment growth. Our award-winning work is showcased on national conference stages, but our greatest pride is making life easier—and more successful—for our client partners. Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, we operate as a remote-first company with VisionPointers across every U.S. time zone, while offering hybrid and in-person options for those near our headquarters.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented Agency Operations & Admin Intern for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester.

If you have ever wanted to understand how a fast-paced marketing agency actually runs from the inside out, this role is for you. This isn’t a siloed internship where you’ll only see one department; instead, you will act as a foundational support layer for multiple central teams, including Business Development, Finance, Client Operations/Project Management, and Operations.

Note: While much of the work can be done remotely, this position is hybrid and requires you to be based in the Raleigh, NC area to handle certain hands-on operational tasks.

What You’ll Do

Business Development Support

  • Support with the completion of proposal paperwork, document organization, reference contact information, and upkeep of other sales-related assets.
  • Manage the final coordination and physical shipping of client proposals and materials.

Finance Support

  • Assist the finance team with basic, essential bookkeeping and billing support tasks, such as creating billing schedules and reviewing and QAing invoices..

Client Operations & Agency Systems Support

  • Work closely with Client Success Managers to audit, update, and maintain project data accuracy inside our internal project management tool (ClickUp).
  • Provide QA support for internal time sheets.
  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks that keep our internal digital systems running smoothly.
  • Assist in updating internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documenting team workflows.

Who You Are

Must-Have Skills & Qualities

  • Raleigh-Based: You live in or near Raleigh, NC, and have reliable transportation to occasionally handle the physical shipping/mailing of time-sensitive business proposals.
  • Incredible Attention to Detail: Whether you are looking at a client proposal, a financial spreadsheet, or project data, you naturally catch the small errors that others miss.
  • Strong Organizational Habits: You can juggle tasks coming from different departments (Finance, Sales, Project Management) without losing track of deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Spreadsheets & Docs: Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs to organize data and format professional paperwork.
  • Action-Oriented: Execute a plan and move initiatives across the finish line.

Background & Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field (or a recent graduate looking for agency exposure).
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week during the Fall semester.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with ClickUp is a huge bonus!

Our Internship Program

The VisionPoint internship program is a structured 12-week program open to undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency setting. We value our interns and go the extra mile to ensure your time here directly supports your long-term career goals.

Here is what makes this opportunity unique:

  • Direct Mentorship & Feedback: You won't just be doing administrative tasks in a vacuum. You will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will work with you to set professional goals, guide your daily work, and provide regular performance feedback.
  • True Operational Variety: You won't get bored doing the exact same task every day. One day you are helping the growth team win a new client, the next you are supporting finance or ensuring project data is spotless.
  • A Bridge to Your Future: While full-time hiring is always dependent on our evolving agency needs, VisionPoint views our internship program as a vital talent pipeline, and we love seeing successful interns transition into full-time roles upon graduation when the timing is right. This is the ultimate resume-builder for anyone looking to enter the professional agency world, giving you a distinct advantage by understanding the business side of marketing.
  • Compensation & Flexibility: This is a paid internship at $15.00/hour. We are also happy to work with full-time students looking to receive academic course credit for their internship.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
